Meth lab/Drug Identification

and Awareness Training

Where: Holmes Fire District #1 (Station #1)

When: February 10^th starting at 19:00

For Who: All Holmes County Fire/EMS personnel

Special Agent Dave Posten from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation will be presenting a class on what to look for, how to identify and the hazards associated with common and not so common Drugs that we as Emergency responders could and do run into on any given call. He will have actual drugs and components of a Meth lab for people attending to observe and ask questions about.

This class is open for any Holmes County Emergency Personnel. All are encouraged to attend. You do not need to RSVP or sign up for this class. If you have any questions,

Holmes Fire District 1 is offering a 48 hour Paramedic Refresher Course:

February 15 Airway/ Ventilation and Geriatric
February 21 Cardiology and OB Emergencies
February 28 Trauma Issues
March 14 Medical Emergencies
March 21 Medical Emergences, EMS Ops, Pediatrics
March 28 Pediatric Issues

All classes will be held at station #1 at 0800 - 1630 and are free for all Holmes County EMS Personnel. If you are unable to attend all classes you will still receive CE's for the days attended.
