Fire Safety Trailer

The Safety Trailer incorporates the following FIRE SAFETY COMPONENTS:

Weather Package: sounds of rain, wind and lightning. Visual effects such as lightning are incorporated into this program. Weather Advisory and Blackout effects are simulated into the training.

9-1-1 Simulator: training for calling 911 is demonstrated with a real phone and dispatcher that responds back to the child.

Fire Alarm System: sounding of a fire alarm and the types of devices available include state of the art warning devices for Hearing Impaired and Sight Impaired persons.

Emergency Lighting and Exit Sign

Simulated Kitchen: mock kitchen with stove to simulate a stove top fire and oven fire.

Mock Living Room: shows safety precautions that must be taken with simulated working fireplace.

Smoke Generating Machine: smoke can be placed in the different areas to give the participants a real life experience as to what to do if they encounter smoke.

Heated Door: demonstrates how to get out safely by feeling a bedroom door.

Escape Window: escape planning and knowing two ways out. Participants are taught how to escape safely giving them hands on experience of going through a window to a safe area by a safety ladder.

The trailer is used at fairs and large group gatherings and is also taken to all schools in the county to teach fire safety.

Young girl climbing out of window! Our fire safety trailer has a winow that includes a real ladder that teaches children how to safely climb out of a window equipped with a safety ladder.	Putting a flaming pot out! The safety trailer includes a stove equipped with pots that shoot out a "real" paper flame. This teaches childed to keep pot handles in and how to safely extinguish a pot that catches fire!
A set of stairs and smoke! The safety trailer incorparates a mini set of stairs which teaches children how to safely crawl down them in smoky conditions. The smoke is perfectly safe but teaches very well!	Full size stove top and sink! This properly teaches children how to be safe around the stove and how to properly extinguish fires.
